Tournaments
Catan Community is proud to offer not one, but 2 Leagues you can be a part of and play in, not just casually, but also competitively. Tournaments are hosted every weekend, alternating between Base Open, Cities & Knights Open, Cash and Special Tournaments. You must register and be a part of our server in order to compete in our Tournaments and League.
Tournaments are announced every Wednesday with Qualifiers typically taking place through the weekend and Finals taking place on Sunday. Our Open Tournaments are free for everyone and Cash Tournaments cost $5 USD. You can enter Cash Tournaments by either paying for a ticket, or winning a ticket through Open Tournament prizes and raffles. You can pay for a Cash ticket in the following ways:
United States
Paypal: https://paypal.me/CatanCommunityUS
Venmo: @Puzzlesss
Cashapp: $puzzlesss
Europe and the rest of the world

Check in for all tournaments opens 1 hour before the tournament start time and closes 15 minutes before start time (For eg. Check in opens at 3pm GMT, closes at 3:45pm GMT, Tournament starts at 4pm GMT). All timings for our tournaments are in GMT. You must check in to play, registering is not enough. Once check in closes, tables will be made and announced in #tournament-announcements. Once tables are announced, find your name and head on over to your table number to find your fellow players and the link to the colonist lobby. Tag your table mates using @username which you can find in the google sheet. You can also send them a direct message or call them if they don’t show up. If a player doesn’t respond in about five minutes, tag @Host to notify us. We will find a back-up player.
Everyone will now have the great opportunity to have their best attempt in our open tournaments count. However, if you quit during any of your attempts, before you have played all qualifying rounds, this will not apply to you. Check Tournament Rules for more information.
Playing in tournaments doesn't just award Colonist Coins, but you can also earn League Points for every qualifier you play in. Earning League Points through tournaments is a good way to climb up our Monthly Leaderboards and earn a spot in our exclusive End of Month Tournament. However, if you quit a qualifier before finishing it, you will not earn any league points for it, and you will lose your best attempt perk for that tournament (more in Tournament Rules).
